Vela Asia is a new company which provides e-commerce services to large retail companies. We assist companies with all the services they need to run an e-commerce business, from website and marketing to logistics and fulfilment. Vela Asia is looking for smart, enterprising young interns to complete a six week internship in one of Indonesia’s fastest growing industries. Graduates of top universities are preferred, but candidates can be in the process of completing their bachelor or other university degree.
The internship will involve a range of activities. Because Vela Asia is just starting its operations, interns will be required to be flexible, self-motivated and able to solve problems. Specific tasks will include, but will not be limited to:
- Assisting establishing an e-commerce operation for a new client
- Working with order management software to fulfil client orders
- Attending supplier meetings
- Potentially some management of outsourced warehouse staff
- A strong capability in English is required, and comfort working with new programs / software on computers is desired.
IDR 2.5m per month. Start immediately, based in Jakarta.
