Managing Editor

Responsibilities:
Work with Marketing, Production, and Sales staff to ensure that the assigned list of the magazine adheres to timely publication schedules, while maximizing opportunities for revenue growth and meeting profit goals
Proven experience in a Managing Editor/similar Editorial role
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
The ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities
A self-starter, with the ability to prioritize on a daily basis and oversee a range ofprojects
Requirements:
At least 4 years professional writing or editing experience for English-language publications/English Magazine (can be concurrent with management experience)
At least 2 years management experience (can be concurrent with writing/editing experience)
Must have editorial and administrative experience, including reporting, writing, editing articles and managing content pages of the magazine
Proven leadership capabilities
Self-motivated and hard working
Able to work under pressure
Good teamwork
Pleasant personality with positive working attitude
Be highly organized with solid administrative acumen
Be proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook Express
